About me

    Anaël Le Gall

    ✨ Graphic Design / Webdesign / Silkscreen ✨

First self-taught as a graphic designer, I continued my passion through my studies. First in Tréguier in a DNMADE in cultural graphic design and then in Cambrai with a DNSEP in communication.

During these years, I had the opportunity to work with many professionals in this field, whether in printing, web design agencies, creative studios, or in the cultural sector. I also had the chance to practice this profession abroad through two experiences in Ljubljana.

I am currently based in Plougastel-Daoulas where I am developing a Silk Screen Printing workshop and my independent activity.

My work focuses on DIY and independence in creation. Thus, I work a lot with web2print and new digital tools. I also wrote a thesis on digital sobriety which can be accessed through this link.

BPM 111
  • Argadigor (contraction of the words "outil" and "libre" in Breton) is a workspace. It is a place of creation, both physical and digital, where the materials and techniques used are entirely free.
  • This concept challenges the tools of the designer by seeking free, scalable, and accessible alternatives at every stage of the creative process. Starting from operating systems, moving on to graphic resources, and up to the printing and distribution process, each element is approached from the perspective of open-source and independence from dominant players in this field. In this line of thought, all content produced within this space is distributable, adaptable, and modifiable at will by anyone.
  • The entire diploma project is accessible from this link.

This installation aims to "enhance" two works featured in the "Line, Colors, Sounds" exhibition at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Cambrai through the use of digital technology and interactivity it allows. Mention should be made of the work by Aurelie Nemours, particularly "Le rythme du millimètre", which blends mathematical precision with the poetry of forms by creating a sense of visual frequency. The interplay of blacks and whites in the animations helps convey a sense of rhythm, harmonizing with the corresponding sound and thus creating a new form of score.

"Dynamo" is a presentation of the work created during the "Energy" workshop.

This presentation took the form of an exhibition at Ésac from December 7, 2022, to January 21, 2023. It was a hot-off-the-press presentation, an opportunity to share the projects of 4th and 5th-year students with the entire school.

This exhibition is accompanied by a website for archiving the projects.
